How ToughCell Wireless Phone Insurance Works
ToughCell’s wireless insurance plan will cover loss, theft, cracked screens, accidental damage, water damage, charger damage and battery depletion; pretty much anything but intentional damage. All you need to do is sign up for mobile phone insurance and make a claim when the time comes. It’s easy to make claims. Just call us 24/7 at 866-724-5024. All we need is your wireless number to verify your contract and we’ll determine next steps based on your claim.
Broken Cell Phone Insurance Process
If your phone can be repaired, simply send it to our repair depot and we’ll ship it back within 24-48 hours. If you need your phone replaced, we’ll send you a replacement within 24 hours of your claim being approved. It is that easy! If we do send you a replacement a hold will be placed on your credit card until we get your broken device back to us. As soon as we get your broken phone back, the credit card hold is removed.
Lost or Stolen Cell Phone Insurance Process
In case of loss or theft, just send us a police report to verify your claim and we will get a phone out to you within 24 hours of your claim being approved. Replacement devices are most often new but occasionally refurbished if there is a shortage of the device being replaced. All refurbished phones go through a strict inspection and work perfectly.
Other Things to Know About ToughCell Cellular Insurance
Your cell phone can be up to 90 days old at the time of purchase of your ToughCell wireless phone Insurance or 60 days old for iPhones. There is a 30 day waiting period before claims can be filed. We need the IMEI/MEID/ESN number of your phone on file, and if you have an iPhone, we will need your receipt on file. You are allowed two claims in a 12 month period, and 3 in a 24 month period, with a $1,000 limit. A $75 deductible applies to claims ($150 deductible for iPhones). Cancel monthly plans at anytime and cancel prepaid plans within first 30 days.
